Join me as we practice yoga asana (postures) and pranayama (breath work) to cultivate mindfulness, awareness, and peace on (and off of) our mats.
As I journeyed through motherhood and pursuing a degree in chemistry, I found that at the root of my success were the skills I learned through my yoga practice.
Yoga translates as "to yoke" or "to unite". This is a beautiful way of thinking about the practice. Not only are we uniting our mind, and our body, but typically yoga is a way of uniting a community together.
